Job Overview:

Candidates with strong, recent hands-on ServiceNow Event Management + AWS Service Graph Connector + Discovery/IRE experience is a must.

We are seeking highly experienced Senior ServiceNow ITOM Technical Consultants to support a project with a leading Aerospace & Defense contractor.

Required Certifications:

ServiceNow CSA – Certified System Administrator

ServiceNow CAD – Certified Application Developer

Minimum 2 CIS certifications

CIS-ITOM / ITOM-related certifications strongly preferred

Required Technical Skills:

ServiceNow Event Management – Primary Focus

Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Event Management

Experience streamlining and optimizing complex eventing and alerting environments

Event correlation, alert processing, noise reduction, and event-rule optimization

Experience integrating multiple monitoring/event sources into ServiceNow

CMDB / IRE

Strong experience with Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE)

CMDB data quality, identification, reconciliation, and normalization

Experience troubleshooting duplicate and conflicting CI records

ServiceNow ITOM

Strong overall ITOM implementation and technical consulting experience

Discovery and Service Mapping experience

Experience with modern infrastructure and cloud environments

Health Log Analytics

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Health Log Analytics

Experience using logs and operational data to improve monitoring and event visibility

Agent Client Collector

Experience with ServiceNow Agent Client Collector (ACC)

Strong understanding of infrastructure discovery and visibility using ACC

AWS / Service Graph

AWS Service Graph Connector configuration and tuning experience is highly important

Experience integrating AWS infrastructure and services with ServiceNow

Strong understanding of Service Graph data ingestion and CI mapping

Discovery – Containers & Ephemerals

Experience with ServiceNow Discovery for containers and ephemeral infrastructure

Experience identifying and maintaining visibility into short-lived infrastructure

AWS Lambda

Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda

Understanding of serverless architecture and its integration with ServiceNow/ITOM monitoring and discovery

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support ServiceNow ITOM technical implementations and enhancements.

Design and optimize complex Event Management environments.

Analyze event and alert volumes and implement strategies to reduce noise and improve actionable alerts.

Configure and tune integrations between ServiceNow and AWS monitoring/infrastructure sources.

Configure and optimize AWS Service Graph Connector.

Support CMDB health, IRE, identification, and reconciliation.

Implement visibility across containers, ephemeral infrastructure, and cloud environments.

Troubleshoot complex ITOM integrations and event-processing issues.

Follow strict security, compliance, and documentation requirements associated with an Aerospace & Defense environment.
