Summary

Aquent is partnering with a leading enterprise at the forefront of its industry, dedicated to operational excellence and strategic innovation. This organization plays a critical role in delivering essential services, and we are seeking exceptional talent to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success and transformative initiatives.

Are you ready to be a pivotal force in transforming how a major enterprise manages its critical assets? We are seeking an exceptional SAP EAM professional to lead the charge in designing, implementing, and optimizing cutting-edge Enterprise Asset Management solutions. In this dynamic role, you won?t just be maintaining systems; you?ll be instrumental in shaping operational efficiency, enhancing reliability, and directly influencing strategic decision-making across the organization. Your expertise will be the driving force behind the full lifecycle of SAP EAM projects, from initial concept to post-go-live success, truly empowering business units with robust, future-proof solutions.

What You?ll Do

  • Lead hands-on functional configuration and design for SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), including PM/SM and PS modules, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
  • Drive full lifecycle SAP EAM implementations, encompassing every stage from business requirements gathering and workshops to gap analysis, blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, cutover, data migration, go-live, training, and ongoing support.
  • Contribute significantly to the implementation and execution of SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance processes by thoroughly assessing current states, identifying critical customer requirements, and defining future-state business solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Translate complex detailed business requirements into comprehensive systems design documents and implement them effectively within the SAP environment.
  • Capture essential business capability and functional requirements, along with expected service levels, to craft EAM solutions that seamlessly align with an actionable business-IT roadmap.
  • Collaborate strategically with EAM architects to identify opportunities for leveraging emerging technologies, providing insightful advice to business leadership on their potential impact on existing technical and information system environments.
  • Ensure business and functional requirements are consistently maintained and rigorously validated throughout the entire development and configuration processes.
  • Serve as a primary liaison, fostering strong communication and collaboration between internal teams, vendors, project management, and technical teams for all solution architecture questions, issues, and revisions.
  • Guide complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions, meticulously validating these decisions to ensure any deviations from standard functionality are well-justified and deliver positive, measurable value.
  • Provide expert consulting services for both new SAP implementations and existing support projects, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Offer targeted ad-hoc training and user support as needed, empowering end-users with comprehensive system proficiency and confidence.
  • Work autonomously and independently, often stepping into a subject matter mentor role to guide and develop less experienced team members.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of extensive experience in designing, customizing, testing, implementing, and managing enterprise asset management solutions/systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in a minimum of 2 full-cycle greenfield/brownfield SAP implementations, showcasing end-to-end project expertise.
  • Proven experience with successfully converting new acquisitions or mergers into existing technology platforms.
  • Strong familiarity with current technology implementation patterns and best practices in the enterprise space.
  • Exceptional, persuasive communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Outstanding ability to clearly articulate complex technical ideas, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Extensive experience and deep knowledge of integrating SAP enterprise modules (e.g., CRM, MM, FI) with other SAP modules and various third-party applications.
