We have an immediate need for a Production Support Analyst Data & Reporting based in Sunnyvale, CA, working in a hybrid model to support critical business intelligence platforms and ensure seamless reporting operations across global teams.
In this role, you will be part of a globally distributed support team providing follow-the-sun coverage across regions, ensuring high availability and accuracy of reporting systems. You will act as a subject matter expert across reporting platforms, managing data investigations, resolving discrepancies, and guiding users on data interpretation. The role involves handling Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, managing workflows through tools like Slack, and working closely with automation tools and bots to ensure smooth request handling. You will investigate data inconsistencies, validate reporting accuracy, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to escalate and resolve defects, pipeline issues, and reporting anomalies while ensuring operational continuity.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in business intelligence and reporting support with hands-on exposure to tools like Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or SAP BusinessObjects. Experience in querying and analyzing data to troubleshoot issues, along with a solid understanding of sales or channel performance metrics, is essential. Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple support requests, working across time zones, and communicating effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Knowledge of data pipelines, reporting logic, and BI platform operations is important, along with the ability to translate complex technical findings into clear business insights.
