Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data architecture solutions supporting complex healthcare analytics and data integration initiatives. This role will focus on developing scalable data strategies, governance frameworks, and enterprise data models to support large-scale business intelligence and reporting needs.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in enterprise data architecture, data governance, metadata management, data quality, cloud-based data integration platforms, and healthcare data environments. The selected professional will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to establish enterprise data standards, drive data modernization initiatives, and enable data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise data architecture solutions for large-scale analytics and data integration platforms.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise data standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Architect cloud-based data solutions integrating complex healthcare datasets.
  • Define enterprise data models, metadata standards, reference data structures, and data quality processes.
  • Lead initiatives involving Master Data Management (MDM), metadata management, and data harmonization.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Support enterprise analytics strategies and long-term data architecture roadmaps.
  • Evaluate and enhance data quality, governance practices, and metadata completeness across enterprise systems.
  • Assist with data sourcing strategies and system-of-record identification.
  • Perform root cause analysis of enterprise data issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Establish best practices for enterprise data management and governance maturity.
  • Partner with data engineering and IT teams to resolve complex data integration challenges.
  • Present technical concepts and data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

AI & Advanced Analytics Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize AI prompts and query strategies to support complex data analysis initiatives.
  • Build standardized AI prompt libraries for reporting and analytics use cases.
  • Validate AI-generated outputs and identify potential inconsistencies.
  • Ensure AI-enabled solutions align with enterprise governance and reporting standards.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making and responsible AI adoption across the organization.
  • Stay informed on emerging AI, analytics, and data management technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Management, and Data Governance.
  • Strong expertise in data architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of data flows, metadata management, data quality frameworks, and business process analysis.
  • 10+ years of experience working with healthcare data domains, including claims, encounters, member, provider, and clinical datasets.
  • 8+ years of experience designing and supporting Enterprise Data Warehouse environments.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Data Governance
    • Metadata Management
    • Data Quality Management
    • Reference Data Management
    • Enterprise Data Modeling
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing Master Data Management (MDM) or Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions.
  • Experience within Healthcare, Insurance, Public Sector, or highly regulated environments.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification is a plus.
