Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Desktop Engineer in Horsham, PA.

Responsibilities:
* Engineer, deploy, maintain, and support desktop, laptop, peripheral, and endpoint technologies in accordance with enterprise standards
* Design and manage standard workstation builds using modern provisioning tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Autopilot)
* Administer endpoint management platforms for device configuration, compliance enforcement, patching, and software distribution
* Develop and maintain endpoint configuration, security, and compliance policies using MDM/MAM solutions
* Coordinate workstation installations, moves, and hardware refreshes for new hires, office changes, and upgrades
* Provide engineering-level support for Windows endpoints, troubleshooting complex OS, hardware, and application issues
* Package, test, deploy, and maintain approved software, following change and compliance requirements
* Configure, secure, and support corporate mobile devices, including enrollment and policy enforcement
* Support remote and hybrid workforce environments, including secure home-worker configurations
* Participate in vulnerability management activities, including patch compliance and remediation coordination
* Monitor and remediate endpoint compliance posture, including encryption, antivirEDR, and configuration baselines
* Maintain documentation, evidence, and controls required for audits and regulatory assessments
* Follow established work order, change, and incident management procedures
* Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for endpoint issues and service requests
* Maintain accurate endpoint documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides
* Support asset inventory, lifecycle tracking, and equipment maintenance logs
* Research and evaluate emerging endpoint, security, and compliance technologies
* Collaborate with security, risk, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
* Perform other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
* Preferred certifications: Microsoft, Intune, endpoint security, A+, or similar
* 2+ years of experience in desktop support or endpoint engineering
* Strong knowledge of PC hardware, OS fundamentals, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management
* Experience supporting and administering enterprise Windows desktop environments
* Hands-on experience with modern endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune
* Experience with automated or zero-touch deployment methodologies
* Understanding of endpoint security and compliance policies
* Familiarity with vulnerability management, patching, and compliance reporting
* Experience with disk imaging and enterprise application deployment solutions
* Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including audit-quality documentation
* Flexible schedule availability as needed

Physical & Additional Requirements:
* Technical school training or equivalent experience; Certifications preferred
* Ability to lift up to 70 lbs; bend, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed
* Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
