The Impact you will have in this role:We are seeking a Director, System Delivery Process (SDP) to provide strategic leadership, people management, and operational oversight for DTCC's System Delivery Process. This role is accountable for the overall effectiveness, efficiency, and controls of SDP, ensuring it continues to meet business, audit, and regulatory expectations while enabling efficient and predictable delivery across technology.
The Director will lead and develop the SDP team, supervise SDP continuous improvement opportunities, oversee the IT Project Management Center of Excellence, and partner closely with upstream and downstream functions such as Enterprise Program Management Office, Delivery Practices, Change Management (CM), and project tooling teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of people leadership, execution discipline, enterprise collaboration, and regulatory mindset.
Your Primary Responsibilities: - Lead, manage, and develop the SDP team, providing people and performance management, regular one on ones, coaching, feedback, and career development support
- Foster a high-performing, inclusive team culture with clear accountability, growth opportunities, and succession planning
- Own and oversee the end-to-end System Delivery Process, ensuring it is clearly defined, consistently applied, and continuously improved
- Proactively identify inefficiencies, risks, or control gaps in the system delivery lifecycle and drive sustainable remediation
- Strengthen and maintain the SDP control environment, embedding risk management and governance into process design and execution
- Support all internal audits, external audits, and regulatory requests related to SDP, including preparation of evidence, walkthroughs, and presentations
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure SDP aligns with enterprise policies and regulatory standards
- Collaborate closely with upstream and downstream partners including Enterprise Program Management Office, Delivery Practices, Change Management (CM), and project management tooling teams to ensure end-to-end delivery alignment
- Serve as a senior escalation point for SDP-related issues, balancing stakeholder needs with control integrity
- Lead communication, training, and change efforts to drive consistent enterprise understanding and adoption of SDP
- Act as a thought leader for system delivery governance, process maturity, and continuous improvement
Qualifications: - Minimum of 10 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success: - Demonstrated experience developing people, either through people management, coaching or mentoring
- Deep knowledge of system delivery processes, SDLC frameworks, and process controls within a large, regulated organization
- Proven experience supporting audits and regulatory engagements
- Strong ability to lead large-scale process improvement initiatives while managing day-to-day operational demands
- Experience collaborating across enterprise delivery functions
- Strong executive-level communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with PPM, JIRA, or similar delivery and requirements management tools
- Strategic thinker with the ability to remain hands-on and execution-focused
- Highly organized, analytical, and comfortable operating in a complex, fast-paced environment
