Summary

We are seeking a skilled Jira Administrator to manage and optimize our Jira environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting our Jira software to ensure seamless project tracking and collaboration across teams. This role requires a strong understanding of Jira workflows, permissions, and integrations, along with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and customize Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management to meet organizational needs.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions to ensure appropriate access control.
  • Assist with add-on integrations for various departments.
  • Develop and implement workflows, schemes, and filters to optimize project management processes.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Integrate Jira with other tools to streamline workflows.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, addressing technical issues and enhancing user adoption.
  • Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and best practices.
  • Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Required on site attendance 5 days a week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Self-starter.
  • Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP).
  • Proven experience as a Jira Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge or Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Jira Core.
  • Familiarity with Jira plugins and marketplace apps.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Jira REST API, Groovy).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with Jira Data Center and cloud deployments.
  • Knowledge of other Atlassian tools.
  • Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
