Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced POS Automation Tester with strong hands-on expertise in test automation using Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate should have solid coding skills, experience building or working with custom automation frameworks, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms. Prior experience in Point of Sale (POS) or Retail domain will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
Develop and enhance automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Execute functional, regression, and integration testing for POS applications.
Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test scenarios and improve product quality.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers for resolution.
Maintain test documentation, reports, and automation best practices.
Ensure test coverage across POS devices, retail systems, and integrated platforms.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Automation Testing using Java and Selenium.
Good coding and scripting skills in Java.
Hands-on experience in developing or working with custom automation frameworks.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
Experience in POS (Point of Sale) systems or Retail domain applications.
Experience testing payment systems, retail transactions, or store operations platforms.
Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
