Job Summary- Plan and direct development, application and maintenance of quality systems and procedures
- Perform trend/performance analyses and initiates root cause investigations
- Ensure compliance with program/project quality requirements
- Develop and implement inspection and test methods, techniques, equipment, and facilities
- Act as primary company interface with both suppliers and customers for quality related issues
- Provide direction to inspectors
Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience working in a high reliability / aerospace manufacturing environment
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a timely and efficient manner
- Excellent verbal and interactive communications skills with all levels of employees and management
- Be able to write and review FAI reports in accordance with AS9102
- Demonstrated knowledge and analytical skills for most types of inspection tools
- Able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and mechanical drawings including knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to develop quality standards, procedures, and train personnel in their use
- Familiarity with industry quality management standards such as AS9100/ISO 9001 and technical standards such as J-STD-001/IPC-610
- Knowledge of statistical methods and their application
- Trained in Lean/Six Sigma tools and processes
Required Experience and Education To perform this jobsuccessfully, an individual must posse the outlined experience level,education, training, and certifications in order to be considered.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5-8 years professional experience in a manufacturing environment
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
- Six Sigma/Lean Green Belt certification preferred
Base Compensation: USD 82,000.00 - 90,000.00 Paid Salaried
