Job Summary
  • Plan and direct development, application and maintenance of quality systems and procedures
  • Perform trend/performance analyses and initiates root cause investigations
  • Ensure compliance with program/project quality requirements
  • Develop and implement inspection and test methods, techniques, equipment, and facilities
  • Act as primary company interface with both suppliers and customers for quality related issues
  • Provide direction to inspectors

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working in a high reliability / aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a timely and efficient manner
  • Excellent verbal and interactive communications skills with all levels of employees and management
  • Be able to write and review FAI reports in accordance with AS9102
  • Demonstrated knowledge and analytical skills for most types of inspection tools
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and mechanical drawings including knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Ability to develop quality standards, procedures, and train personnel in their use
  • Familiarity with industry quality management standards such as AS9100/ISO 9001 and technical standards such as J-STD-001/IPC-610
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and their application
  • Trained in Lean/Six Sigma tools and processes
Required Experience and Education

To perform this jobsuccessfully, an individual must posse the outlined experience level,education, training, and certifications in order to be considered.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 5-8 years professional experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
  • Six Sigma/Lean Green Belt certification preferred

Base Compensation: USD 82,000.00 - 90,000.00 Paid Salaried
