OverviewWe are seeking skilled
AV Technicians to support multiple fast-paced construction and technology integration projects across the Utah market. This is a
6-month contract-to-hire role with a strong likelihood of extension and conversion. Technicians will perform a wide range of AV and low-voltage tasks, including
security camera installation, structured cabling, and AV system integration (Crestron, Q-Sys, Extron, Biamp, and more).
Technicians will meet at a centralized location in Ogden and travel to job sites with our dispatch team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, able to work efficiently, deliver high-quality installations, and collaborate effectively with junior team members.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and troubleshoot:
- Access control systems
- Security cameras (CCTV)
- Audio-visual systems (Crestron, Q-Sys, Extron, Biamp)
- Wireless access points
- Perform structured cabling (Cat5, Cat6, fiber optic cable)
- Conduct cable terminations and testing
- Assist in system set-up, tear-down, and general hardware support
- Follow construction standards and safety protocols on all job sites
- Ensure timely and professional completion of assigned tasks
Required Skills & Experience- Expert-level skill in:
- Audio Visual systems
- Security camera installation
- Low-voltage cabling & structured cabling
- Troubleshooting and technical support
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as:
- PDK, Salto, Genea
- Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Q-Sys
- CCTV & wireless access points
- Strong understanding of job-site safety and construction environments
- Must provide personal tools (listed below)
- Must wear standard PPE

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
