Our Accounting and Finance firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Tax Manager to join our team. This role is critical to our organization as you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all tax related activities. It is an exciting opportunity for a tax professional who is looking for a challenging role, where they can make a significant impact. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with experience in partnerships, trusts, C-corp, S-Corp and individual tax returns. The candidate should be proficient in using CCH Axcess Tax Software, Intuit QuickBooks and CCH. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all tax related activities within the organization.
- Prepare and review tax returns for partnerships, trusts, C-corp, S-Corp and individuals.
- Utilize CCH Axcess Tax Software, Intuit QuickBooks, and CCH to manage and process tax related tasks.
- Provide expert guidance on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce potential tax risks.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Provide tax planning services to clients and advise them on tax related issues.
- Conduct research on complex tax matters and provide solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations and ensure the organization is in compliance.
- Liaise with tax authorities and represent the company in any tax audits or disputes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA or Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting and Finance industry.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns for partnerships, trusts, C-corp, S-Corp, and individuals.
- Proficiency in CCH Axcess Tax Software, Intuit QuickBooks, and CCH.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and oversee all tax related activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with tax authorities and represent the company in any tax audits or disputes.
- Ability to conduct research on complex tax matters and provide solutions.
- Ability to stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations and ensure the organization is in compliance.
