Job Title: Epic Beaker CP/AP Support Analyst

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hrs/week)
On-Call: Yes (Rotation)
About the Role
We are seeking an Epic Beaker CP/AP Support Analyst to provide operational, technical, and workflow support for Epic Beaker and related Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) across inpatient and outpatient environments. In this role, you will ensure reliable laboratory operations through continuous system monitoring, issue resolution, interface support, rigorous testing, upgrades, data validation, and workflow optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and support daily LIS operations, laboratory interfaces, and cross-application workflows.
Troubleshoot Epic integrations, interface errors, result transmission issues, and data discrepancies.
Configure, test, and maintain complex system mappings and data validations.
Validate laboratory orders, results, and specimen tracking across integrated health systems.
Lead and support upgrades, patches, enhancements, and unit/system testing activities.
Partner with clinical lab staff, pathologists, IT teams, vendors, and operational leaders to refine workflows and resolve incidents.
Document system configurations, workflows, and technical resolution paths.
Participate in an on-call support rotation and incident response as needed.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
Active Epic Beaker CP (Clinical Pathology) and/or AP (Anatomic Pathology) certification.
Direct experience supporting Epic Beaker within a hospital or health system setting.
Deep understanding of LIS functionality, clinical laboratory workflows, orders, results, and specimen tracking.
Working knowledge of HL7 messaging, interface engines, and Epic integrations.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and cross-functional communication skills.
