Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Risk and Cybersecurity Regulatory Remediation Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT Audit, regulatory assurance testing, and control effectiveness testing. You will be responsible for ensuring our organization's adherence to regulatory requirements, identifying potential risks, and ensuring controls are effective in mitigating risk.

Depth & Scope:

• Performs Regulatory Assurance and Quality Control reviews of U.S. technology remediation activities and management toll gates, including testing, following the Enterprise Process set forth by the Control Effectiveness Team
• Documents all Regulatory Assurance and Quality Control reviews plans and results for Sr. Management review.
• Engages with the QA Review & Challenge Coordination team to track and report on all upcoming and ongoing Regulatory Assurance and Quality Control reviews for regulatory remediation activities.
• Detailed depth of knowledge in Access Management, Data Security, Infrastructure Security, Application Security, Resiliency, and/or Technology Operations
• Acts as a lead expert resource in technology controls / information security for project teams, the business / organization and/or outside vendors
• Has advanced knowledge of organization, technology controls / security/ risk issues

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Information security certification / accreditation an asset
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Expert knowledge of IT security and risk disciplines and practices

Preferred Qualification :

• Proven experience in cybersecurity regulatory remediation assurance, control testing and IT risk management and GRC.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Regulatory examination and remediation experience
• Audit and Control Testing experience
• Participates on complex, comprehensive or large projects and initiatives
