Job Description:-

Software Developer-3 is an Information Technology (IT) position responsible for converting data from project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to create or modify computer programs. The role includes preparing or receiving detailed specifications describing the sequence of steps, input, output, and logical operations required for program execution.The candidate will analyze specifications using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic. Responsibilities include conferring with supervisors and departments to resolve questions related to program intent, data input, output requirements, and internal checks and controls.The role involves converting specifications into computer-processable language, entering program codes into computer systems, inputting test data, observing program execution, interpreting operating codes, and correcting errors by modifying programs or altering sequences of program steps.

Additional responsibilities include:-

• Preparing computer block diagrams and machine logic flowcharts for detailed coding
• Documenting programming work
• Evaluating existing information processing systems and developing new systems
• Preparing specifications for equipment and personnel operations
• Conducting studies for development of new information systems
• Preparing technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals
• Upgrading systems and correcting errors after implementation
• Assisting programmers in resolving project specification or programming issues
• Directing and coordinating work related to program development, testing, installation, and modifications
• Providing technical assistance and support for applications and hardware problems
• Supporting information sharing with external entities
• Coordinating and planning management information systems usage
• Determining operational, technical, and support requirements for office equipment and systems
• Preparing charts, diagrams, tables, and flowcharts
• Detailing input and output record formats for computer programs
• Assisting in logical problem descriptions and optimum solutions
• Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of computer applications
• Supporting software technology planning, development, implementation, system security, and interfaces

Experience Required:-

• 8 or more years of experience
• Ability to independently perform a variety of complicated tasks
• Wide degree of creativity and latitude expected

Minimum Years of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:-

• 8 years experience in n-tier architecture setup including multiple web/app/file/database servers, load balancers, and DMZs
• 8 years experience in setup, configuration, and administration of the OnBase platform including:
  • Web server
  • App server
  • Data capture and Full Text servers
  • Disk group/platter administration including disk encryptions
  • Authentication setup including SSO
  • PAV/NextGen server
  • Exposure to at least four different versions of OnBase
  • Proactive monitoring and health checks
• 8 years hands-on experience implementing:
  • Multi-thread scheduler services
  • DIP/DRIP implementations
  • Timer services
  • Advanced diagnostics settings
• 7 years active participation in OnBase upgrades
• 7 years experience in diagnostics including OnDemand
• 7 years experience with:
  • Windows Server (e.g. 2019)
  • IIS administration
  • SSL certificate setup
  • SQL Server databases in cluster mode
• 5 years experience with Disaster Recovery processes in the context of OnBase
• 5 years active OnBase Sys Admin, Workflow Admin, or Engineer certifications
• 5 years experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:-

• 4 years experience in Hyland OnBase Administration
• 4 years experience in Hyland OnBase related support activities
• 4 years experience as OnBase Certified System Administrator
• 5 years experience with:
  • Unity API scripting using C#
  • Workflow, Workview, and Unity Form development
  • Splunk and AppDynamics integrations
  • REST API concepts
