Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Virtualization Engineer responsible for the architecture, deployment, optimization, and lifecycle management of enterprise VMware environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise across VMware infrastructure components and will ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of virtualized platforms.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server
• Expertise in VMware vSAN administration and optimization
• Hands-on experience with VMware NSX-T including micro-segmentation
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• Strong knowledge of VMware Lifecycle Manager (vLCM)
• Proficiency in PowerShell / PowerCLI automation
• Experience with VMware Aria / vRealize Automation & Orchestrator
• Strong understanding of enterprise compute, storage, and networking architecture
• Experience in capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, security hardening, and compliance standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain VMware virtualization infrastructure
• Manage cluster configurations, upgrades, and patching activities
• Optimize system performance and conduct root cause analysis
• Implement automation for infrastructure operations
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams
• Develop technical documentation, SOPs, and DR runbooks
• Provide operational support and technical guidance
