You will provide technical leadership across complex RF communications links and systems, antenna system design, functionality, and operation while working with multidisciplinary engineering teams, program leadership, and customers to resolve technical challenges and deliver mission capabilities.

The work is on-site in Aurora, CO, and program support activities may require travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations, not expected to exceed 25%.

What You Will Do
Lead the planning and execution of system analysis, integration, verification, and troubleshooting activities in laboratory and operational environments
Lead technical analysis and trade studies supporting RF communications systems, antenna systems, and electronic hardware
Coordinate technical activities with multidisciplinary engineering teams, Program Management, Systems Engineering, Chief Engineering, and customer organizations
Lead troubleshooting and failure data analysis activities, including root cause and corrective action processes using laboratory and field test equipment
Develop and review detailed performance evaluations using engineering analysis tools such as MATLAB, Python, Ansys HFSS, or similar tools
Lead the preparation and presentation of technical results through reports, design reviews, and briefings to internal and external stakeholders
Provide technical leadership for the design, integration, testing, troubleshooting, fielding, and sustainment of RF hardware systems
Lead root-cause analysis and support the development and implementation of engineering design changes and technical solutions
Develop, review, and maintain engineering specifications, design documentation, analysis requirements documents, schematics, and assembly drawings
Coordinate and resolve system-level technical issues across engineering disciplines and program organizations
Participate in and lead technical working groups, engineering tag-ups, interface meetings, teleconferences, and program reviews
Support the development and implementation of engineering processes and technical requirements
Lead or support mockup hardware installation, integration, troubleshooting, and repair activities
Support sustainment activities, including depot returns, failure analysis, troubleshooting, and hardware repair

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
Experience leading or supporting RF communications links and systems, antenna systems, electronic hardware systems, or related RF engineering activities
Experience performing system analysis, technical trade studies, design, integration, testing, verification, or troubleshooting of complex RF or electronic systems
Experience using engineering and analysis tools such as MATLAB, Ansys HFSS, Python, or similar tools, along with commercial test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, or network analyzers
Active and transferable DoD TS/SCI U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with reflector system design and antenna feed design
Experience with solid-state amplifier performance parameters and high-power tube amplifier technology
Experience with computer networking and cybersecurity or INFOSEC practices
Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, engineering specifications, and communications protocols
