Summary

Manager of Engineering Data Warehouse

Introduction:

The Manager of Engineering Data Warehouse will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of the data warehouse within the engineering department. This role will involve leading a team of data engineers, implementing data modeling strategies, and utilizing artificial intelligence technologies to optimize data processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of data engineers to ensure the data warehouse meets the needs of the engineering department
  • Implement data modeling patterns to organize and optimize data storage and retrieval
  • Utilize artificial intelligence technologies to improve data processes and decision-making
  • Work with Databricks, Cosmos, and other data warehouse tools to maintain and enhance the data warehouse
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Develop and implement data CI/CD pipelines to automate data processes
  • Create data visualizations and analytics using Power BI to provide insights to stakeholders
  • Maintain and monitor data pipelines to ensure data availability and reliability
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in data engineering

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Experience with Databricks, Cosmos on Azure, and Azure AI Foundry
  • Knowledge of data CI/CD pipelines and automation
  • Strong data modeling skills and familiarity with data modeling patterns
  • Proficiency in Power BI and data analytics
  • Experience with MS App Fabric and MS certifications
  • Proven leadership and team building skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data engineering in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with research and proof of concept development
  • Knowledge of CI/CD automation tools
