IT Product Manager with Banking experience to join our technology organization. The Product Owner will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision and roadmap for an
Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) or related platform, working closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to deliver high?impact solutions aligned with enterprise goals.
This role requires a strong understanding of
Agile delivery, stakeholder collaboration, and software engineering practices within a regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision - Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategic roadmap aligned with organizational objectives and developer needs.
- Own and drive the product roadmap, including quarterly and multi?quarter (6Q) planning.
Backlog & Agile Management - Maintain, refine, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of features that maximize business value.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand?ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure epics, features, and stories are well?defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication - Partner closely with engineering teams, architects, business partners, and leadership to gather requirements, clarify priorities, and communicate progress.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business and technology teams.
Product Storytelling & Presentations - Create compelling narratives around product features, releases, and enhancements.
- Deliver clear, engaging presentations to stakeholders at varying levels of the organization.
Product Performance & Measurement - Define key success metrics and measure product performance against organizational OKRs.
- Track outcomes and continuously refine product strategy based on data and feedback.
Engineering & Delivery Support - Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure feasibility, quality, and timely delivery of features.
- Consult on and participate in moderately complex software engineering initiatives and deliverables.
- Review and analyze moderately complex engineering challenges requiring evaluation of multiple variables.
Compliance & Risk Awareness - Contribute to solutions that align with software engineering policies, procedures, and compliance requirements common in banking environments.
- Collaborate with client and internal personnel to resolve issues and meet engineering deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Product Ownership, or related roles, demonstrated through:
- Professional work experience
- Consulting engagements
- Military experience
- Formal education or training
- Hands?on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience supporting banking or financial services technology platforms
- Strong understanding of SDLC, software engineering concepts, and product lifecycle management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Product Manager
- Experience with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), automation, or enterprise platforms
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in financial institutions
- Experience managing roadmaps and OKRs at scale

Pay Range: $60 - $63/hr
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
