The Firmware Verification Engineer III will collaborate with internal teams to develop verification strategies and release plans. Responsibilities include coordinating team members, adopting best practices, and delivering high-quality firmware and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop firmware verification plans, test scripts, and manage execution in collaboration with development teams.
- Attend core team meetings and provide updates on releases and verification activities.
- Work with regulatory and SQA teams for firmware release approvals.
- Coordinate day-to-day verification activities and prioritize tasks to ensure on-time project completion.
- Partner with firmware development to resolve issues identified during verification.
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding milestones and deliverables.
Requirements:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience (Bachelor s) or 3+ years (Master s) in engineering.
- Experience in automation testing and test script development.
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
- Experience using scopes and logic analyzers.
- Ability to lead functional teams or projects independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the medical device or a regulated industry.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
- Familiarity with Linux or real-time embedded OS.
