Summary

Requirements

5 or more years of experience in Splunk Enterprise administration and cluster management.
Proficiency in Linux system administration within high-availability cluster environments.
Experience with Bash scripting for system automation and log processing.
Experience in configuration management tools including SaltStack and Ansible.
Experience with version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket.
Experience in Linux file system configuration including NFS and CUI security standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage Splunk Enterprise operations including index creation, application updates, and source type configuration.
Administer Linux clusters to ensure optimal performance and health of the underlying logging infrastructure.
Execute Splunk Enterprise and Universal Forwarder version upgrades across distributed server environments.
Design and implement technical dashboards for real-time monitoring and advanced data visualization.
Automate application file permissions and deployment workflows using SaltStack and Ansible.
Configure secure log collection from Windows and Linux endpoints to centralized data clusters.
Perform system-level troubleshooting and forensic log analysis within a secure VDI environment.
