Job Details

Join a dynamic IT team as a Linux System Administrator in a full-time role where you'll work primarily with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) in a secure, enterprise environment. This organization is modernizing its infrastructure with upcoming migrations to AWS, containerization initiatives, and automation improvements. You'll be part of a tight-knit team of 5 (Network Admin, 3 System Admins, and CISO) supporting critical internal tooling and developer database systems in a 7x24x365 environment.

This is your chance to join a team that values work-life balance and professional growth. With a low-impact on-call rotation (only once per month, minimal pages), you'll spend 60% of your time on greenfield projects, including RedHat Satellite upgrades, AWS cloud migrations, and automation initiatives, with the goal of reducing maintenance work to just 30%. The team is invested in teaching and developing talent-they're looking for someone who learns quickly and can grow with emerging technologies like containerization and cloud platforms. You'll have the autonomy to work independently while being supported by experienced colleagues who value knowledge sharing and collaboration.
