Summary

Our client in Vancouver, is seeking a Senior SAP RAR Consultant for a HYBRIF contract. The consultant will support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation for a mining organization. The consultant will lead and deliver Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) configuration, integration, and testing aligned with IFRS 15 requirements. Key Responsibilities & Core Functional Expertise

Configure and integrate Finance Revenue Streams with Sales & Distribution (SD), including provisional, final, and invoice adjustments.
Lead scenario identification, end-to-end configuration, baseline system setup, and integration testing for revenue processes.
Provide technical and functional support for SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) requirements.
Hands-on delivery using SAP S/4HANA RAR (IFRS 15), including:
- Performance obligations
- Fulfillment events
- Contract asset and liability postings
Design and support custom RAR solutions, including user exits/BAdIs, BRF+, and configuration enhancements to enable deferred revenue recognition until transfer of ownership.
Strong understanding of SD-FI integration, including billing, pricing conditions, account determination, and event-based revenue recognition.
Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience delivering RAR solutions in large-scale SAP implementations.

Nice to Have

Mining industry experience with practical application of IFRS 15 in SAP S/4HANA.
Experience with event-based revenue recognition (milestone-based, time-based, transfer-of-control triggers).
Exposure to revenue contract data migration and historical revenue adjustments.
Familiarity with mining-specific pricing and valuation scenarios (e.g., provisional pricing, revaluation).
CPA designation.
