### **Job Summary**
Under broad supervision, you will manage software development and IT application projects through their full life cycle—from project definition to implementation. You will lead multiple internal and external end-to-end IT application projects, drive process improvements, manage documentation, and enforce software best practices. This role requires running large projects with minimal oversight, balancing a structured Waterfall framework for compliance with Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) used by development teams.
### **Key Responsibilities**
* **Project Execution:** Build and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project or Project Online, manage dependencies, and hold teams accountable to baseline plans.
* **Framework Management:** Track and report projects through a structured Waterfall framework for compliance visibility while supporting engineering teams executing via Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
* **Contract & Compliance:** Review contractual documentation to extract scope, deliverable requirements, and key milestones, translating them into actionable project plans.
* **Collaboration & Communication:** Facilitate routine meetings/ceremonies, maintain project boards/dashboards (Jira, ServiceNow), and coordinate across clients, vendors, and engineering teams.
* **Documentation:** Create project charters, kick-off presentations, process workflows, and "how-to" documentation; archive comprehensive meeting notes for management decision-making.
### **Required Skills & Experience (Must-Haves)**
* **5+ years** of dedicated IT project management experience specifically managing **software development or IT applications**.
* Demonstrated, hands-on proficiency with **both Waterfall and Agile** methodologies in a hybrid delivery environment.
* Strong proficiency with **MS Project or Project Online** for schedule development, baseline management, and tracking.
* Proven ability to run large-scale projects independently with minimal oversight.
### **Preferred Skills & Certifications (Nice-to-Haves)**
* PMP, CAPM, or an equivalent project management certification.
* Experience utilizing tools such as **Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow**.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
### **Work Environment & Eligibility Constraints**
* **Work Model:** Hybrid. **Preference will be given to candidates local to the Atlanta Metro area / State of Georgia.** Please indicate full-time residency status upon application.
