RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide engineering support of equipment used in the manufacturing and development of advanced technology products at Qorvo, Richardson Operations.
Improve equipment availability and reduce cycle time, costs and yield loss through data driven equipment hardware and process performance improvements.
Upgrade and re-engineer equipment to improve equipment performance.
Define and improve detailed preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
Coordinate machine installations to support factory capacity expansions.
Present and communicate data analysis and improvement actions to FAB management and equipment technicians.
Assist in resolving complex corrective maintenance tasks and documents lessons learned to improve technician skills.
Lead cross functional continuous improvement teams to implement solutions that address the root cause of problem areas.
Must be able to work and manage several projects in parallel and execute to commitments.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
More than 3 years of relevant experience
Strong technical capability, including knowledge of pneumatics, robotics, electronics, and semiconductor processes
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated project management skills
Demonstrated problem solving ability
Knowledge and application of SPC in the manufacturing environment

Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Ion Mill and/orTrim experience on Veeco or Scia equipment
  • E-Beam Evaporation experience on Temescal or Evatec equipment
  • Rapid Thermal Anneal Experience
