DAY 1 ONSITE OPPORTUNITY
Role Summary
- The Senior SAP BODS Migration Lead will be responsible for defining the end-to-end data migration strategy, executing complex data extract-transform-load (ETL) routines, and coordinating legacy-to-SAP S/4HANA data conversion activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end technical data migration effort from legacy ERP systems (Oracle, SQL Server, custom DBs) to SAP S/4HANA.
- Architect and design high-performing BODS Batch Jobs, Data Flows, and Custom Functions.
- Establish data mapping templates (Legacy Source \rightarrow Target SAP Structures) for key Master Data objects (Customer, Vendor, Material, BOM) and Transactional Data.
- Collaborate closely with SAP Functional Leads to translate business rules into BODS validation routines.
- Conduct performance tuning on BODS jobs using SQL pushdown, degree of parallelism (DOP), and database partition techniques.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
- Experience: 8+ years of dedicated experience in SAP Data Services (BODS 4.2 / 4.3).
- Migration Tools: Deep experience with S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM), Rapid Data Migration (RDM) content, and IDoc/BAPI loads.
- Database & SQL: Expert-level SQL skills (writing complex joins, stored procedures, view optimizations) on SAP HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Leadership: Proven track record leading cutover activities, mock conversion cycles, and data reconciliation routines.
