Job DetailsResponsibilities:
1. Define and optimize manufacturing processes, workflows, tooling, and factory layouts to support efficient production of complex electronic assemblies.
2. Lead investigations into yield, quality, and assembly issues, and implement robust corrective and preventive actions.
3. Collaborate with design teams during new product development and engineering changes to enhance manufacturability and production throughput.
4. Champion manufacturing improvements for RF/microwave assemblies, including integrated modules, frequency control products, converters, filters, and synthesizers.
5. Actively participate in cross-functional MRB and NPI efforts to ensure smooth product launches and issue resolution.
6. Utilize hands-on knowledge of RF electronics manufacturing processes such as soldering, mechanical assembly, bonding, and environmental testing.
7. Apply Lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering role supporting high-reliability electronics production.
3. Hands-on knowledge of RF electronics manufacturing processes such as soldering, mechanical assembly, bonding, and environmental testing.
4. Strong foundation in Lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone, PFMEA).
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop actionable plans.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
8. Self-motivated with a strong drive for results and continuous improvement.
