Hiring a Production Monitoring Support Specialist for a client in the healthcare industry

Location: 100% remote in US
Salary: $70,000-80,000 DOE 
Hours: M-F 1st shift 

Must have prior experience with AWS and monitoring prodution support issues

Responsibilities: 

• Implementing and monitoring automated production support alerts.
• Ensuring production systems maintain high performance and that any potential performance and scalability problems are identified early and prioritized appropriately.
• Error monitoring, http response time monitoring, and database level performance monitoring, to provide recommendations or implement performance benefits.
• Being the go-to infrastructure expert, supporting other engineers in setting up any infrastructure and dealing with the intricacies of AWS.
• Implement systematic approach to ensuring production software is performing well and capabilities to respond rapidly to any detected issues.
• (Secondary Responsibility) Contributing to the Typescript application backend

Required Experience:

• 2+ years using AWS and using Terraform professionally.
• 1+ years typescript backend experience with willingness to contribute to the backend codebase.
• Experience monitoring production systems, localize and triaging production issues for a live product with users.
• Experience building production monitoring systems (alerts, logging, etc) for both error monitoring and performance monitoring.
