Position: SAP BW Lead (100% Remote)

Location: 100% Remote

Duration : 12+ months

Job Description:

Design, develop, and maintain SAP Business Warehouse (BW / BW on HANA) solutions supporting enterprise data warehousing and reporting needs.

 Develop and enhance BW data models including InfoProviders, InfoCubes, DSOs/ADSOs, and Composite Providers based on business requirements.

 Build and maintain data extraction processes from SAP and non-SAP systems using standard and custom extractors and Data Sources.

 Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using BW Transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains.

 Develop and maintain BEx queries, Query Designer artifacts, reports, and dashboards to support business intelligence and analytics.

 Perform performance tuning and optimization of BW data loads, queries, process chains, and reporting structures.

 Work on BW on HANA modeling, optimization, and HANA-based data modeling techniques.

 Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data load failures, process chain issues, and system performance bottlenecks.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and data engineers to gather and translate reporting and analytics requirements.

 Perform data validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks across BW data flows and reporting layers.

 Support enhancements and maintenance of existing BW extractors, data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.

 Implement and manage BW security roles, authorizations, and data access controls ensuring compliance and governance.

 Document technical designs, data architectures, ETL workflows, and reporting logic following enterprise standards.

 Support system upgrades, migrations, transport management, and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.

 Provide production support, incident resolution, continuous improvement, and integration with SAP BO/BusinessObjects reporting tools, leveraging ABAP for BW enhancements, and aligning with data governance and data warehousing best practices.
