The client is seeking an experienced Siemens Capital Implementation Consultant to lead the deployment, configuration, and adoption of Siemens Capital for electrical systems and wire harness design.
The consultant will be responsible for installing and configuring Siemens Capital, establishing engineering libraries and standards, supporting customer engineering teams, and driving successful deployment into production environments.
This is a hands-on implementation role focused on Siemens Capital rather than Teamcenter administration.
Primary Responsibilities
Siemens Capital Installation & Deployment
- Install and configure Siemens Capital software suite.
- Configure development, test, and production environments.
- Deploy:
- Capital Logic
- Capital Harness XC
- Capital Integrator
- Capital Library Manager
- Capital Publisher
- Capital Analytics (if applicable)
- Perform system upgrades and patch installations.
- Create deployment and administration documentation.
- Establish backup, maintenance, and support procedures.
Configuration & Setup
- Configure:
- User roles and permissions
- Design templates
- Engineering standards
- Naming conventions
- Approval workflows
- Project structures
- Define electrical design processes and best practices.
- Develop customer-specific configuration standards.
Library Development & Management
- Build and maintain:
- Connector libraries
- Wire libraries
- Component libraries
- Device libraries
- Symbol libraries
- Import supplier and manufacturer catalogs.
- Configure reusable engineering content.
- Ensure library integrity and governance.
Engineering Process Support
- Support:
- Schematic design workflows
- Wire harness workflows
- BOM generation
- Change management processes
- Electrical release processes
- Define engineering standards and methodologies.
Integration Support
- Support configuration and validation of:
- Teamcenter integration
- NX integration
- ERP interfaces
- Validate synchronization of:
- Parts
- Electrical BOMs
- Design revisions
- Harness data
(Teamcenter administration will be handled by a separate Teamcenter resource.)
Testing & Validation
- Develop deployment validation procedures.
- Execute integration and user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues.
- Support production rollout activities.
Training & Enablement
- Train:
- Electrical engineers
- Harness designers
- Administrators
- Engineering leads
- Create user documentation and training materials.
- Provide go-live support and mentoring.

Experience
- 5+ years Siemens Capital experience.
- Multiple Siemens Capital implementation projects.
- Experience supporting enterprise electrical engineering teams.
- Experience deploying Capital in production environments.
