This role is 100% remote
This is a 6 month plus contract and possible right to hire.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (compute, networking, storage, security)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous, reliable deployments across platform modules
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
- Monitor system health, performance, and uptime across production environments including POS integrations, web ordering, and real-time delivery systems
- Collaborate with development teams on automated testing integration and deployment strategies
- Ensure PII/data privacy compliance in infrastructure design, particularly for AI and marketing workloads handling customer data
- Manage private AI hosting environments as the platform scales ML/personalization capabilities
Qualifications
- 3 5+ years in a DevOps or Site Reliability role
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Proficiency with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS) and orchestration
- Understanding of security best practices, especially around PII handling and data privacy
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting high-availability, real-time transactional systems
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to incident response
Nice to Have
- Experience in restaurant tech, hospitality, or multi-tenant SaaS platforms
- Exposure to ML/AI infrastructure (model serving, data pipelines)
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and quality engineering practices
