We are seeking a Mainframe Batch Scheduling Engineer with strong expertise in IBM z/OS environments, CA ESP workload automation, and enterprise batch job scheduling. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing mainframe batch scheduling systems and ensuring reliable workload automation in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support mainframe batch scheduling and workload automation processes
Configure and maintain CA ESP scheduling environments
Develop and maintain JCL scripts for batch job processing
Monitor and troubleshoot mainframe batch jobs and system performance
Work with IBM z/OS systems including JES2, ISPF, and SDSF
Support enterprise workload automation and scheduling processes
Perform problem analysis, system tuning, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with application teams to resolve batch scheduling issues
Maintain system stability and ensure timely execution of batch workloads

Required Skills:

Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS environments
Strong experience with JCL (Job Control Language)
Experience with JES2, ISPF, and SDSF
Experience with CA ESP workload automation
Experience performing batch job scheduling and monitoring
Experience working in Unix and Windows environments
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with CA Encore
Experience with CA ESP System Agent
Experience with CA OPS/MVS
Knowledge of REXX scripting
Experience supporting enterprise mainframe scheduling environments
