Position Overview



Seeking an experienced ServiceNow Specialty Software Engineer to support enterprise IT Asset Management initiatives with a strong focus on Service Catalog development, workflow automation, integrations, and AI-assisted platform capabilities.



This role requires a highly technical engineer with deep hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, Agile delivery, automated testing, API integrations, and modern AI-assisted engineering practices. The ideal candidate will help design, develop, and enhance scalable ServiceNow solutions while partnering closely with cross-functional engineering teams.



Key Responsibilities




  • Design and develop ServiceNow Service Catalog solutions including:


    • Catalog items


    • UI forms


    • Workflows


    • Integrations




  • Build and maintain scalable ServiceNow applications using scripting, business rules, and application development best practices


  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including:


    • Sprint planning


    • Daily standups


    • Reviews


    • Retrospectives




  • Implement features based on user stories and acceptance criteria


  • Perform unit testing and support end-to-end SDLC activities including development, testing, deployment, and release management


  • Manage update sets and coordinate code promotion across environments


  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement fixes


  • Collaborate with engineering teams during technical reviews and developer discussions


  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, troubleshooting, and analysis


  • Ensure AI usage aligns with enterprise security, compliance, privacy, and ethical standards



Required Qualifications




  • 5+ years of overall software engineering or ServiceNow development experience


  • 3-5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience


  • Strong expertise with:


    • ServiceNow Service Catalog


    • Business Rules


    • Scripting


    • Application Development




  • Experience working with Yokohama version or newer


  • Experience with:


    • ServiceNow ATF scripting


    • Automated testing tools


    • REST APIs


    • JSON integrations


    • API development




  • Strong JavaScript development skills


  • Experience with:


    • React


    • Angular


    • Bootstrap


    • CSS


    • HTML




  • Experience working within Agile and Scrum environments


  • Must possess:


    • ServiceNow CSA Certification


    • ServiceNow CAD Certification




  • Experience using:


    • NowAssist Agentic AI


    • AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot





Preferred Qualifications




  • Experience with:
