Role Overview

American Express is looking for a Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and scale enterprise-grade applications supporting global financial systems. You will work on high-performance platforms used by millions of customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable applications using Java (Spring Boot / Microservices)
Build responsive UI using React / Angular / JavaScript / TypeScript
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with backend services
Work on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Collaborate with product managers, QA, and DevOps teams
Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

Required Skills

Strong experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices
Frontend expertise in React.js or Angular
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Web Services
Knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases (Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL)
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Hands-on with cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
Understanding of design patterns and system design
