Job Description
We are seeking a QA II to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in end-to-end test management, test strategy, and test automation across APIs and web and a proven ability to define and execute comprehensive test approaches, drive quality metrics, and integrate QA practices into SDLC from initiation to implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead E2E test management for large cross-platform projects, from planning through implementation.
- Develop and execute test approaches and detailed test plans with milestones and reporting.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align scope, schedules, environments, and data needs.
- Define test strategies, including test data management and test environment planning across customer journeys.
- Integrate quality principles into software design and development processes within Agile teams.
- Monitor and analyze QA metrics, including defects, defect trends, test results, and status.
- Assess, select, and implement appropriate automation tools and frameworks.
- Design and execute API and functional automated tests; debug issues across environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of software testing experience, including 3+ years as an E2E Test Manager for cross-platform projects.
- Deep knowledge of SDLC and QA processes from initiation to implementation.
- 7+ years in developing and executing test approaches and test plans with stakeholder coordination and reporting.
- Subject matter expertise in test strategy, test data, and environment planning.
- Experience integrating quality principles into software and IT processes for teams.
- 5+ years tracking and analyzing QA metrics, including defect counts and test results.
- Hands-on with automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, UFT, and Tosca, with ability to determine tool selection and rollout.
- Proficiency in API testing and automation using POSTMAN, SOAP UI, and REST Assured.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and integrating tests into pipelines.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python for test data and automation scripting.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Rally, JIRA, ALM, SharePoint, and Confluence.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with GenAI tools for process automation or efficiency.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate for workflow automation.
- Quality Assurance certifications such as CTFL, CSTE, PMP, or equivalent.
