Our client is seeking a SCADA Analyst / Point-to-Point Specialist to support operational testing, SCADA validation, field device verification, and compliance documentation activities within its Houston Operations Control Center.
This position works closely with Operations, SCADA, Engineering, and Field personnel to ensure control center displays accurately represent field equipment and operating conditions before systems are released into production.
This is not a software development role and is not a traditional IT position. The ideal candidate will possess experience in pipeline operations, industrial controls, SCADA environments, operational technology (OT), industrial automation, or process control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform point-to-point testing of pipeline control systems
- Verify SCADA displays accurately reflect field equipment and operating conditions
- Validate pumps, valves, transmitters, instrumentation, and control logic
- Coordinate testing activities with field operations teams
- Work with SCADA teams during system implementation and deployment
- Execute operational readiness testing
- Document test results and maintain compliance records
- Support implementation of newly acquired assets
- Participate in troubleshooting and issue resolution activities
- Support after-hours testing and rotating on-call activities
Required Qualifications:
One of the following:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Military technical experience
- Relevant oil & gas industry experience
In addition:
- Experience working with SCADA systems
- Understanding of industrial control systems
- Experience supporting operational environments
- Strong documentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations and IT teams
- Strong troubleshooting skills

Salary/Rate: $45-$55/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
