Job Description Summary
Member of a small, fast-paced and specialized team tasked with the facilitation, communication and execution of projects focused on system administration and data management support. Extensive contact with internal customers and vendors is required to identify, research, analyze, and resolve system issues and development. Will be primary contact on complex or escalated issues and may provide direction and guidance to junior team members. Applies specialized business knowledge and technical skills to drive productivity and quality improvements. Manages complex problems independently and demonstrates analytical thinking. Can make judgements and recommendations based on the analysis and interpretation of data. Responsible for on-going data feeds, development and enhancements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Partners with cross site peers and managers to identify firmwide needs
Works in cooperation with peers on establishing objectives and developing processes and procedures to ensure efficient and timely workflow with special regards to service delivery, compliance, and risk factors for the firm
Ensures appropriate documentation and departmental tools are created and/or maintained (job procedures, job aids, forms, training material, etc.)
Serves as pivotal point of contact and as a liaison to vendors regarding installations, server maintenance, licensing, and upgrade issues
Evaluates and identifies ways to automate, streamline, and improve day-to-day maintenance and administrative practices
Installs or coordinates installation of patches and releases on development, test, pre-production, and production systems
Maintains current description and documentation of application configuration, including tracking and documenting any changes to environments and processes
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
Knowledge of
Retirement Plan concepts, administration practices and regulations
FIS Recordkeeping systems (Relius and OMNI)
File transfer protocols, MoveIT, SQL, VBA, scripting, HTML, Crystal Report writer or Tableau, Smartsheets
Investment concepts
Application and web technologies
Salesforce and Sharepoint knowledge a plus
Skill in
Identify and understand issues and opportunities; compare data from various sources to draw conclusions
Interpreting, applying and documenting solutions, policies, and procedures
Clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message
Use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; recommend or take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences
Demonstrate a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas; remains current with developments and trends in areas of expertise
Develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals
Make internal and external clients and their needs a primary focus of actions; develop and sustain productive client relationships
Education/Previous Experience
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related degree and three (3) years of relevant experience in systems or application administration or combination of education, training, and experience.
Licenses/Certifications
None required.
QKA, ERPA or similar credential a plus
Travel Required
Limited (1-2 conferences a year)
