Job Title: Cisco Subject Matter Expert (Cisco UCS / VMware)
Location: Remote (EST / CST)
Duration: 1 Month (40 hours/week)

Position Overview:
Our Client is seeking a Senior Cisco Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the implementation of Private VLAN (PVLAN) segmentation within a Cisco UCS and VMware environment. This consultant will work directly with client's engineering team to validate architecture, assist with implementation, troubleshoot technical challenges, and provide guidance for PCI-compliant network segmentation.
The consultant will focus on the initial implementation and knowledge transfer, enabling Client's internal engineering team to complete the remaining deployment activities.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 8+ years of Cisco enterprise networking experience.
Expert-level Cisco UCS experience.
Strong Cisco Nexus switching experience.
Advanced knowledge of VLANs, Private VLANs (PVLAN), trunking, and Layer 2 networking.
VMware vSphere and VMware Distributed Switch (VDS) experience.
Experience supporting enterprise data center environments.
Strong troubleshooting and architecture skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
