Mobile SDET

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Mobile SDET in Long Island City, NY.

Overview:
Join a high-impact team driving a major digital modernization initiative for a leading enterprise organization. As a Mobile SDET, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of customer-facing mobile applications while helping modernize critical platforms and user experiences.

This role is ideal for a testing professional who is passionate about automation, thrives in fast-paced environments, and enjoys partnering with Product and Engineering teams to deliver exceptional mobile experiences.

Responsibilities:
* Lead mobile testing efforts for large-scale application modernization initiatives
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
* Execute functional, regression, smoke, and release validation testing
* Validate application upgrades, migrations, and new feature releases
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases
* Identify risks, troubleshoot defects, and drive issues through resolution
* Support release readiness activities and continuous quality improvement initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong experience testing native mobile applications, with a focus on iOS
* Hands-on experience with mobile test automation tools such as Appium
* Background in both automation and functional testing
* Experience validating mobile releases, upgrades, and application migrations
* Understanding of APIs and mobile application integrations
* Ability to lead testing initiatives and influence quality best practices
* Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working within airline, travel, hospitality, or customer-facing digital environments
* Experience with mobile booking, loyalty, payments, or customer journey applications
* Experience with Mabl or other modern test automation platforms
* Exposure to large-scale modernization or digital transformation initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
