Genesis10 is currently seeking an iOS Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in San Francisco, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are looking to hire a talented iOS Engineer to design, build, and maintain the next generation of iOS applications. Your primary focus will be developing high-end iOS applications for the latest Apple mobile devices, collaborating with design teams on new features, and ensuring the quality and performance of the application. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of iOS Frameworks and be proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and Swift UI.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and prototype front-end applications for the Mobile team
- Translate design mockups into functional user interfaces
- Implement front-end logic and data interactions
- Develop Screens and Components by integrating back-end APIs
- Collaborate with the design team to define app features
- Participate in design reviews with the middleware team and coordinate with business on functionality
- Ensure quality and performance of the application to specifications
- Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks
- Fix application bugs before the final release
- Maintain the code and atomization of the application
- Design and implement application updates
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Master's in Software Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in iOS Development using Swift, UIKit and/or Objective C
- Hands-on experience with Copilot
- Proven experience as a UI/UX developer for mobile applications on the iOS platform
- Proficient in code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket
- Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, and usage of Camera APIs
Desired skills: - Experience with continuous integration and unit tests
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution
Pay range: $61.60 - $69.60 per hour
