Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join a global infrastructure operations team responsible for building, securing, and maintaining highly available cloud environments. This role plays a key part in supporting enterprise and custom applications by designing resilient cloud solutions and ensuring operational excellence.
In this position, you will design and manage Azure-based infrastructure, drive automation and DevOps practices, and partner closely with development, security, and operations teams. Your work will directly influence system reliability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency across a complex, enterprise technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code and automation tools
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
• Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance, and governance standards through RBAC and auditing practices
• Monitor, optimize, and manage cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, OS, and application issues to minimize downtime
• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and operational runbooks
• Stay current with cloud technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement
Key Requirements
• 5 or more years of experience in cloud engineering or a similar infrastructure role
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform, with strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in scripting or automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of networking, security principles, and DevOps practices
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools including Terraform, ARM templates, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or ServiceNow
• Excellent analytical, collaboration, and communication skills
