AWS Windows Engineer:

Location: Vienna, VA (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Clearance Required: Active Top Secret Clearance (SCI eligibility not required)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced AWS Windows Engineer. The ideal candidate will bring strong Windows engineering expertise within AWS cloud environments, combined with DevOps experience to support, maintain, and enhance cloud-based infrastructure and services.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain Windows-based infrastructure within AWS environments.
  • Support cloud engineering initiatives, including deployment, automation, monitoring, and optimization efforts.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, application, and cloud-related issues.
  • Implement and support DevOps best practices throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
  • Participate in infrastructure modernization efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance.
  • Hands-on experience engineering and supporting Windows-based environments in AWS.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, administration, and engineering within Amazon Web Services.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server administration and enterprise systems management.
  • Experience implementing DevOps practices, tools, and automation solutions.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced government environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting federal government or DoD customers.
  • Familiarity with security-focused or mission-critical environments.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Active SCI or SCI eligibility (preferred but not required).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred not required
