Job Title: Seaware -QA Automation Lead
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA (Onsite 3 days/week)
Duration: Long Term
Must have cruise line reservation systems (Seaware/Resco preferred)
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Drive day-to-day test planning, execution, and defect management across reservation modules; lead and mentor testers in functional and automation testing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Test Planning & Design: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scenarios based on requirements and project timelines for both manual and automated testing
• Team Coordination: Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance on testing best practices, methodologies, and technical tools
• Test Execution: Coordinate and oversee the execution of manual and automated test cases across multiple modules; ensure quality and completeness
• Defect Management: Identify, document, triage, and prioritize defects; facilitate resolution and retest cycles with development and vendor teams
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with functional leads, architects, and vendor teams to understand requirements, resolve testing blockers, and facilitate issue resolution
• Automation Support: Oversee automation test design, execution, and maintenance; identify opportunities for test optimization and reusability
• Reporting & Metrics: Provide daily/weekly test status reports, coverage metrics, and quality dashboards to the QA Manager and stakeholders
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• 8+ years of QA and test execution experience
• 2+ years hands-on experience with cruise line reservation systems (Seaware/Resco preferred)
• Proven ability to lead and mentor testers in fast-paced onsite environments
• Strong experience in functional and integration testing of complex, multi-module systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Knowledge of Selenium, API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
• Experience with SQL and database testing
• Familiarity with test management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation best practices
• Experience with Cucumber/BDD frameworks will be preferred but not mandatory
