Job Summary

The Field Verification Engineer will support asset management and CMMS activities within process and packaging plant environments. The role will focus on field verification, asset data collection, equipment hierarchy development, preventive maintenance planning, Bills of Materials validation, and asset master data management. The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering background and experience supporting FMCG, Pharma, Food, or similar industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct asset walkdowns and field verification activities to collect equipment and asset data.
  • Review P&IDs, equipment drawings, manuals, and plant documentation.
  • Develop and maintain mechanical equipment asset registers.
  • Create and validate equipment master data and asset attributes.
  • Establish equipment hierarchies and parent-child relationships.
  • Develop preventive maintenance plans for mechanical equipment.
  • Prepare Job Plans, Task Lists, and Standard Maintenance Procedures.
  • Validate Bills of Materials (BoM) for maintainable assets.
  • Define maintenance strategies based on equipment criticality and OEM recommendations.
  • Prepare CMMS-ready asset upload templates.
  • Support CMMS data cleansing, enrichment, and standardization.
  • Validate asset master data prior to system upload.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Reliability, Operations, and Engineering teams.
  • Interact with OEMs and vendors to obtain technical information.
  • Participate in technical reviews, workshops, and discussions.
  • Provide periodic progress reports and technical updates.

Required Qualifications

  • BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in process or packaging plants.
  • Experience in FMCG, Pharma, Food, or similar industrial environments.
  • Strong Asset Management and CMMS experience.
  • Experience with Maximo, SAP PM, or other CMMS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, maintenance strategies, and asset reliability.
  • Experience with asset walkdowns, field verification, asset registers, and equipment hierarchies.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance plans and BoM validation.
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, equipment drawings, and manuals.

Work Requirements

  • Onsite position in Midland, Texas.
  • Plant/field experience is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Maintenance, Reliability, Operations, and Engineering teams.
