REQUIREMENT_CITY - Remote
Role Name - ServiceNow App Engine Developer
ROLE_DESCRIPTION -
6–10+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on ServiceNow development.
Experience in designing and developing custom scoped applications (from scratch) on ServiceNow.
Strong expertise in:
JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs
Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts
ACLs, Data Policies, UI Actions
Flow Designer & Workflows
Deep understanding of App Engine Studio and upgrade-safe development patterns.
Experience with UI Builder, Workspaces, Service Portal, or Next Experience.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and client-side scripting concepts.
Design and implement REST / SOAP integrations with enterprise systems (IAM, HR, Finance, Risk, Monitoring tools).
Work with IntegrationHub, Spokes, and MID Server for secure data exchange.
Handle imports, transforms, error handling, retries, and logging.
Define and enforce development standards, naming conventions, and reusable frameworks.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Experience implementing security using roles, ACLs, and scoped access controls.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certified - mandatory
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certified - preferred
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certified - preferred
Skills: ReInsurance~PL/SQL
