Oracle Fusion Fleet Management Consultant
Functional Expertise
- 10+ years of Fleet Management, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), or Equipment Management experience.
- Minimum 2 full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.

Key Responsibilities
Fleet & Equipment Management
- Lead business process discovery workshops covering:
- Equipment acquisition
- Equipment deployment
- Equipment utilization tracking
- Fleet maintenance
- Equipment retirement and disposal
- Design fleet management processes supporting owned, leased, and rented equipment.
- Define equipment master data, classifications, hierarchies, locations, and ownership structures.
- Configure and optimize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance processes.
- Implement equipment utilization and availability monitoring.
Equipment P&L Management
- Define and implement Equipment P&L reporting framework.
- Track:
- Ownership costs
- Depreciation costs
- Maintenance expenses
- Fuel consumption costs
- Rental expenses
- Operator costs
- Utilization revenue recovery
- Create profitability models at:
- Asset level
- Fleet level
- Region level
- Business unit level
- Design equipment cost recovery and chargeback mechanisms.
Asset Lifecycle Management
- Define end-to-end asset lifecycle processes covering:
- Capital acquisition
- Commissioning
- Maintenance
- Transfers
- Upgrades
- Retirement
- Disposal
- Integrate Oracle Fixed Assets and equipment operations.
- Configure depreciation and asset accounting requirements.
- Establish asset performance and lifecycle KPIs.
Project Cost Integration
- Design integration between equipment operations and Oracle Fusion PPM.
- Ensure equipment usage costs are automatically charged to projects.
- Configure:
- Equipment rates
- Usage-based costing
- Time-based costing
- Cost recovery models
- Enable visibility of:
- Equipment costs by project
- Equipment utilization by project
- Equipment profitability by project
- Support project billing and project profitability reporting.
Integration & Data Management
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate:
- Telematics systems
- GPS solutions
- Fuel management platforms
- Maintenance applications
- Rental management systems
- Define equipment migration strategy from legacy systems.
- Ensure data quality and governance across fleet operations.
Reporting & Analytics
- Design executive dashboards for:
- Equipment Utilization %
- Fleet Availability %
- Fleet Maintenance Backlog
- Equipment ROI
- Equipment P&L
- Project Equipment Cost Analysis
- Support OTBI, BI Publisher, FDI and Oracle Analytics reporting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Fusion Cloud Certification.
- Experience implementing equipment costing and project integration models.
- Knowledge of telematics platforms such as Caterpillar VisionLink, Verizon Connect, Geotab, Samsara, or similar.
- Prior experience with EPC, Utility Construction or Infrastructure organizations.
- Understanding of equipment ROI and fleet optimization frameworks.
