IT Manufacturing Support Specialist:
Perform implementation and 1st level support of mission critical plant floor systems. This includes a functional knowledge of all plant floor control systems used by local plants, ability to troubleshoot system issues, debug associated PLC code and hardware, manage and/or configure system servers, and configure IT PLC driver and OPC client interfaces. This is about 25-33% of daily job duties.
Configure, install, manage, and troubleshoot plant required applications, communication protocols, and network interfaces used to support plant automation systems as well as IT supported platforms. 25%
Perform basic hardware support of PCs, printers, and peripherals as well as local IT Security Management and user maintenance. This includes application of all IT documentation requirements and adherence to all standard IT processes (i.e. P0/P1 escalation, ServiceNow, etc.) 20%
Interface with plant and IT personnel on local plant and corporate IT projects and initiatives. Collaborate with other plants and facilities to assist with launches, projects, and standardization initiatives. Attend floor board reviews, project presentations, and system update walk-throughs as required. Report change information back to crew/shift lead for project planning and execution (i.e. station move, line reorgs, configuration changes, etc.) 15%
Fulfill goals and requirements as defined by local plant management and the IT organization as required (Kaizens, suggestions, etc.) 15%
Additional Skills & Qualifications
This position provides support for all plant floor related, automation control based systems supported by the IT organization. Support includes the implementation of system changes, support of daily plant activities relating to these systems, and system management including the implementation of IT standards and incident management.
The functions and associated responsibilities of this position impact Manufacturing and IT at the plant on a daily basis. By executing and implementing existing standards and best practice solutions, the IT organization ensures a stable and robust environment for our manufacturing business partners.
Must be flexible with all shift and working weekends/overtime.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
