Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Center / Cloud & Automation SME with strong expertise in Linux administration, AWS cloud infrastructure, Terraform, and Ansible automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise infrastructure, automating deployments, supporting Linux systems, and improving operational efficiency through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support Linux servers including installation, patching, user management, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring
- Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure including EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, Security Groups, Certificate Manager, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, and CloudWatch
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Create and manage Terraform modules, variables, and state files
- Automate deployments, patching, and system configuration using Ansible playbooks and roles
- Perform monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Follow security best practices, access controls, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with application, network, and security teams for deployments and infrastructure support
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and operational standards
- Manage code repositories and version control using GitHub
- Continuously improve automation, operational efficiency, and infrastructure reliability
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux Administration (RHEL, Amazon Linux, Ubuntu)
- Experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, and CloudWatch
- Strong expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with Ansible automation and configuration management
- Experience with Bash scripting and automation
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub version control
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
- Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management
- Knowledge of security best practices, patching, and compliance standards
