Seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen advanced threat defense, enhance accountability measures, and maintain transparency across the organization s security infrastructure. This role focuses on cybersecurity within non-production SDLC environments, supporting products, services, networks, infrastructure, and applications. The ideal candidate will lead ethical hacking initiatives, manage vulnerability lifecycles, perform threat modeling, and collaborate cross-functionally to design proactive security solutions. Strong expertise in enterprise security testing, incident response, risk assessment, and automation-driven defense strategies is required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead ethical hacking and penetration testing in non-production environments to identify security vulnerabilities.
Perform threat modeling, threat mapping, and cybersecurity test plan development across hardware, software, and services.
Manage the full cybersecurity vulnerability lifecycle, including reporting, tracking, risk rating (CVSS), and remediation oversight.
Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits to mitigate enterprise threats.
Monitor, analyze, and respond to security logs, incidents, and emerging threats.
Develop micro-playbooks, alarms, detection algorithms, dashboards, and SOAR workflows for automated threat response.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities across the SDLC.
Develop policies, procedures, and remediation measures to prevent malware, network intrusions, and zero-day exploitation.
Prepare comprehensive vulnerability assessment reports with business impact analysis and remediation recommendations.
Support innovation initiatives, proof-of-concept testing, strategic planning, and cybersecurity research efforts.
Mentor team members and provide cybersecurity training and awareness programs.
Participate in incident response, disaster recovery, cyber forensics, and digital investigations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of cybersecurity experience (enterprise-level preferred).
Strong knowledge of NIST and ISO security frameworks and standards.
Senior-level ethical hacking expertise using manual and automated TTPs.
Hands-on experience with security tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, Metasploit, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Kali Linux, Postman, SoapUI, and packet analyzers.
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, routers).
Operating system expertise (Windows, Linux, Unix) and system administration knowledge.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, PowerShell, or Bash for scripting and automation.
Experience with Splunk, Kusto, CRIBL, and Palo Alto XSIAM.
Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and web application security testing.
Knowledge of CVSS scoring, vulnerability classification, exploitability assessment, and business impact analysis.
Strong documentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- CISSP or equivalent cybersecurity certification.
Experience in cloud security environments.
Familiarity with AI/ML-based threat detection mechanisms.
Experience in cyber incident response, digital forensics, and threat intelligence.
Knowledge of secure development practices and code security review.
