Location: Rosemead, CA (Hybrid Tue/Wed onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract (High of extension)

Job Description:
We are seeking a NERC CIP Compliance Analyst to support a leading utility client in maintaining and enhancing their compliance program. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates early in their compliance or cybersecurity career to gain hands-on experience working within IT and OT (Operational Technology) environments.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams to support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and documentation management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining compliance with NERC CIP standards
• Support compliance documentation, evidence collection, and record management
• Track compliance tasks, deadlines, and periodic reviews
• Assist with internal audits, self-certifications, and regulatory reporting
• Coordinate with IT and OT teams to gather compliance data
• Participate in change management reviews
• Maintain compliance tools, logs, and tracking systems
• Support incident response and reporting aligned with NERC CIP
• Assist in compliance training and awareness initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic understanding of information security concepts and compliance principles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to utility, energy, or regulated environments
• Experience with compliance documentation and audit support
• Familiarity with NERC CIP standards
• Knowledge of frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001
