Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in core mainframe technologies and banking domain experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for development, enhancement, support, and maintenance of mainframe applications while adhering to established processes and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform code enhancements, debugging, and production support.
Participate in defect analysis and resolution in accordance with defect management processes.
Manage application changes following established change management procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and production support.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Ensure adherence to banking compliance and regulatory standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in an onsite offshore model is a plus.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
